The President needs to call the republicans' bluff and go over the cliff. Then, democrats need to immediately introduce legislation to lower the tax rates ONLY on those making under $ 250,000. The republicans will have to support it, otherwise they will be exiled by most of the 98 % to the deep South, where they belong.
