The Democrats are now up to 200 seats in the House of Representatives [View all]

Ron Barber (D-AZ) was declared elected earlier today by the Associated Press in Gabrielle Giffords' former seat.

The number could go as high as 201 if the final undeclared seat in North Carolina is determined in the Democrats' favor.

Republicans currently have 234 seats.
