he'll have to scale back ripping off his customers if Obama gets elected. No. He'll keep ripping off as many customers as he can.

In the in case of Papa John, if I understand it, he is threatening to make more employees part time so they won't be covered by the ACA provisions. First off, 80% of the Papa John's stores are franchised and many of them are small enough businesses that they would qualify for ASSISTANCE to provide health care. Second, Papa John has absolutely nothing to say about whether his franchisees use full-time employees, part time, or both. Third, any intelligent business person is going to look for the best employees they can afford for the job. You simply don't get a lot of loyalty from part-time employees. Certainly there are many people who only want a part time job at a pizza place, because they may already have a full-time job or are in school. But your key employees will usually be full time, and it has nothing to do with ACA.

If these bastards want to hire full time employees and not help with their health care, then screw them. They should pay a tax, even if it is only 14 cents per pizza.
