I'm not sure you're right. I am amazed at the outcomes from this election - especially the ballot initiatives. It appears to me that the dems did a strategic job of attacking the right and putting forth a positive message. I think if they had focused too much on republican obstructionism they would have looked like whiners and it would have backfired.

2012 has set a new stage. I'm starting to see the last 50 years in a new light of history. Starting with the Dems adoption of civil rights and the dixiecrat revolt - those actions are just now truly taking hold while the bigoted and the privileged are left reeling wondering what happened.

With that new stage, we can hammer the Republicans on obstructionism starting today and we need to keep hammering them on it until they either stop or lose in 2014. They are now in a position to look like whiners and they will reap the rewards of looking like spoiled brats.

If we start on that now, then 2015-2016 could be two very productive, very progressive years.
