The bad guys always win; the reckless cowboys who have the temerity to defend themselves with guns always shoot bystanders.

Guns make everything worse. (Except for guns in the the hands of police officers, state agents, and armored truck personnel--or movie stars, celebrities, politicians, billionaires, and their bodyguards.)
