BROWNINGTON, Vt. (AP) Vermont State Police believe a 15-year-old boy was accidentally shot to death with a muzzle loader.
Police got a 911 call from a home in Brownington on Saturday night about the shooting.
The teen, Cody Cole of Irasburg, was taken to North Country Hospital in Newport, where he later died.
... It was not immediately known who fired the shot.

Irasburg boy, 15, killed in accidental Brownington shooting
BROWNINGTON Vermont State Police say three youths were at a Brownington home when a 15-year-old Irasburg boy was fatally shot by a muzzle loader.
Cody Cole, 15, of Irasburg was taken to North Country Hospital in Newport, where he later died from what appeared to be an accidental gunshot wound, state police said.
Cole, another 15 year-old and a 10-year-old were all at 958 Parker Rd., the home of a friend of Cole, when the shooting happened at about 7 p.m. Saturday, Detective Sgt. Darren Annis told the Burlington Free Press.
Annis said initial reports indicate that the group was in the process of cleaning firearms when the gun discharged. State police said they received a 911 call from the home saying Cole had been shot accidentally ...
