...after this senseless situation in AL, that maybe we could get some agreement on this statement.

Can we "finally agree that we will no longer hear that firing a warning shot or shooting to wound is a good idea. Why don't you be the first to join me? "

Please note shadowrider - this is not directed at you - but someone on the opposite side who I have been having a conversation with about the AL shooting.

I have posted this question a number of times to a person I have been disagreeing with. No answers.

I hope someone will answer, so that in all future discussions of the issue, when someone says "fire a warning shot" or "shoot to wound", we can point to our brethren across the aisle and agree on this issue.
