American Sniper, Gone Girl, The Imitation Game, Selma and Still Alice out of the major nominees.

Edited: HOW COULD I FORGET WHIPLASH?!?

I would rank them (based on how I liked them):

1. Whiplash
2. The Imitation Game
3. Selma
4. Still Alice
5. Gone Girl
6. American Sniper

I do think, though, that Selma was probably a better film than The Imitation Game. I just liked The Imitation Game better.

I thought Ava DuVernay and David Oyelowo deserved nominations from Selma.

I thought Oyelowo was better than Bradley Cooper, although Cooper was very good.

I thought Gone Girl could get a Picture and Adapted Screenplay nod. I enjoyed that film.

I plan on seeing most, if not all, of the nominated pictures.

I hope Julianne Moore wins; she was fantastic.

Edited: Saw Cake with Jennifer Aniston last night. Ok movie, more like a Lifetime or After School Special. Aniston was pretty good.

Edited: I am midway through Boyhood. I LOVE IT!
