Tens of thousands of Neo-Nazis march in Greece - video & info [View all]

&feature=player_embedded

Detailed political analysis of the rise of the far right in Greece and elsewhere in Europe by Vassiliki Georgiadou, Associate Professor of Political Science in Panteion University, Athens, in the Department of Political Science and History. Her research focus includes political behavior and social cleavages, right-wing parties and political extremism in Western and Southern Europe. She is the editor of the books: "The Extreme Right; Ideology - Politics – Parties," and author of "The Far Right and the consequences of consensus. Denmark, Norway, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Germany." -----

This is a truly terrifying development in Greece, the rise of its neo-Nazi, anti-immigrant and anti-Semitic Golden Dawn movement that now has 7 percent of the seats in the Greek parliament.

I'm very eager to hear everyone's thoughts on this. I find particularly notable the professor's observation that the neo-Nazis sugar-coat their extremism in order to get into power. We see this, of course, with the Tea Party, which insists it is defending the Constitution.
