That's either pretty shallow or rather deep, depending on the topography of the area. Voice of America is reporting 12 deaths and many injuries, had a photo of a collapsed bridge that spanned the Irrawaddy. Sounds bad enough, especially for a Third world country with few resources to assist it's citizens in a natural disaster.
