Voters hoping to beat an Election Day rush hour have been greeted by long lines, and in some cases aggressive campaigners, confused poll workers and parking shortages. The Miami Herald will update the news throughout the day.

LONG LINES LASTING, MIAMI-DADE, 11:45 a.m.

Any hopes that Tuesday’s long voting lines might fade in time for a lunchtime rush are waning at many precincts around Miami-Dade County, where voters continue to wait for hours to cast ballots.
