In reply to the discussion: Hillary Clinton crushes Republican rivals in new poll [View all]maddiemom
(5,106 posts)60. No, it's a huge exaggeration.
The press (Washington Post, etc.) is already sticking the knife in Hillary. Since I'm locally active in Democratic politics, I've been completely amazed by how many average folks in my area really like Hillary. This goes back to her primary runs against then Sen. Obama, who was then very much supported, when he became the candidate, by the same people. I'm not a huge Hillary fan, but will certainly support her over what the Republicans have to offer---scary prospects these days. Like her or not, no doubt that she is exceptionally qualified.

Not sure that election wasn't stolen when Gore ended up with half a million more votes?

There was only Bill Bradley who withdrew a couple of months before the primary.

I don't recall any of that. A CNN poll conducted Dec 1999, almost a year before the 2000 election

I'm undecided, but I dislike the pejoratives such as "crown" we're not a monarchy and "entitled",

Me, too. But I like O'Malley, too, from a speech I heard. So, there's going to be a Primary.
