Political Compass [View all]

where do you find yourself? http://www.politicalcompass.org/test

this is me

here's how this site talks about alignments: http://www.politicalcompass.org/analysis2

here's a quiz that notes various political statements. I think it's good to note that all politicians have made bad decisions, done bad things and some that we don't align with have also done some good things. that's the way the world works.

http://www.politicalcompass.org/iconochasms

here are where various political figures line up on the grid as of 2008

what I recognize from this sort of thing is that my political opinions are not within the bounds of the narrow allowable discourse by national pols. this helps when I want to make all or nothing statements about any pol.

me and Nelson Mandela, on the other hand, or the Dalai Lama, would have a lot to agree upon. The Pope and I share more in common in views of economic justice than I do with Dubya.
