In reply to the discussion: Detectives called Trayvon Martin a 'n****r' and a 'thug' in secret recording [View all]Chakab
(1,727 posts)same ridiculous lies about Martin and the crime scene that you'd from mouth-breathers on local talk radio.
He shouldn't have been wearing a hoodie because it as 90 degrees out? It was a chilly February evening and the weather was poor. Even Zimmerman acknowledged that it was raining on the 911 call. But whatever, I'm not going to get back into the minutiae of that case again.
Given all of the different stories from around the country in which groups of cops were caught sending racist texts back and forth about people in the communities in which they work and their fellow officers, I'd say that this sort of thing isn't a surprise at all.
What's disturbing is that this is the only incident I've seen in which a cop actually had the courage to blow the whistle on his coworkers for this kind of hate speech.
