I stopped associating with the group because too many of them were idiot libertarians/ one issue people.

Why are they like that/ why do they have such a blind side? It seems that star atheist icons have them nodding their heads in agreement and they therefore keep nodding to everything these icons say. I thought the very essence of being an atheist was the ability of independent rational thought.
