But that was a misunderstanding. However, it did make me rethink my additude toward minorities.
However, I have known people who are very liberal and very racist. One person I knew was a Democrat and very liberal on every issue but constantly used a derogatory word to refer to African-Americans. Others I've known were great champions of equal and civil rights as long as they were 'helping the oppressed' masses. But then couldn't handle a minority or woman as an equal or superior.
