Some reader comments defended General Mills, or attacked the racist reaction the ad inspired. But most of the comments were hand-wringing statements about how the ad was "PC crap," revealed yet another sign of America's decline, or some other kind of negative reaction.

For the progressive the enemy is the white man. They convinced themself they are the source of the worlds problems. And they know that white men have the intelligence and balls to stand up to their Marxist plans.

Part of the leftist utopia is a world with no race. One big brown race. The only way to start accomplishing that is to heavily promote race mixing.

Its a deadend proposition for whites. Have mixed kids. Then if the mixed kids have kids with a minority the white lineage for that family tree is completely dead.

There is no benefit whatsoever for a white to breed with a black. I’m not saying that to be a jerk, its just reality.

It only benefits the black who obtaining and breeding with a white is a sign of status and a lightening of their bloodline.

Blacks put down white men so much but ironically the white women they want can only be created by a white man.

Whoever it was at General Mills that approved the ad blew it. The whole concept of advertising is based on appealing to the largest number of potential consumers. That one should not alienate potential customers is a gimme. Like it or not, most people view B/W marriages with some degree of distaste. Commercials with either an all White or all Black cast offend no one, but a rational person would have seen that this commercial was controversial and could cost them sales.

It’s no big mystery why American culture is vanishing. Two words. Diversity, and tolerance. When these two concepts, along with all things progressive, are on the ash heap of history, America will be America once again. I will never allow myself to be forced to recognize & approve of things that are against the American way. Those of you who don’t like the American way, Europe is east of here, go there, stay there. I won’t let you change my country any further.

I and others do not have a problem with interracial marriages. I couldn’t care less. It is the incessant beating down of everything “white” and the promotion and glorification of everything “black” that makes people angry. This Cheerios ad is yet another attempt to elevate the black man to the point of suggesting to white women that white guys are not what you want, “You want a black man”. No other single demographic has heaped more heartache and pain upon other human beings than the American born black male. I dare anybody to refute what I have said with facts instead of insults. Remember this: Prog 101-”when you cannot refute the argument, call them a racist or insult them”.

It has been more than forty years since Martin Luther King, Jr. advocated judging people by the “content of their character” not the “color of their skin.” Yet we still elect people (including President) because of skin color, the media sets a lower standard of conduct for people with darker skin and vicious racism is tolerated because of the color of their skin. Here in GA we have a long time state Senator who is charged with stealing over a million dollars from a charity he ran. His defense? He’s Black so he didn’t know any better. A color blind society? No way as long as we have Black privilege in America.
