So many of the greatest movies made never make it to the Academy Awards because they were too successful.

Most of the movies up for an Oscar make people scratch their head because the public has never heard of them before they were nominated, and then the critics work overtime convincing people that these nothing movies were better than the blockbusters the public spent nearly half a billion to see.
