Libraries around my area are always packed with people. There is one bookstore within a 20 mile radius...and that area is very congested and a pain to get to. People use the computers, they use the quiet rooms for study groups, and reading in general. Ours has a fantastic DVD rental program with lots of great titles and they have the "Friends of the Library" sales all the time to generate more money.

These asshats want to kill off the libraries, simply because they don't want the citizens of the country to be informed and literate. That should be enough of a reason to keep giving to and using your public libraries!

There is no way that libraries are going to die!
