6. That's why I think Dorner was long gone when they found the truck this AM

Easy to burn a truck with a delayed fuse. Even a lit cigarette would give someone ten minutes. I used to set off cherry bombs and M80's that way in my youth.

Why burn the truck? To conceal evidence.

But the guy wouldn't want to be anywhere nearby when it catches fire.

I think he's gone from the mountain and the cops are going to waste time trying to track him.

The thing is. Somebody is bound to ID him if he interacts with the public.
