A friend asked me:
Can you have acupuncture while on Nortryptolin and or Klonipin ?
She was recently psych hospitalized with Seratonin syndrome. She thought she was off psych drug Effexor XR long enough (two months) before she tried 5-htp but it wasn't and ended up with too much Seratonin. That was in October. From end of August thru October and had very high anxiety. She was put on Nortryptolin and Klonpin but still have anxiety and depression. She has tried to meditate, exercise and therapy but the anxiety continues.
She was thinking of trying acupuncture but wasn't sure if it would affect the Sertonin or medication She had tried acupuncture before when she had been off the Effexor XR for two months and it helped until the Seratonin kicked in
