Election as Speaker is a very simple majority affair. Each party puts up a candidate and the members vote. There are four possibilities for each voting member:

1. Vote for your party's candidate.

2. Vote "present"

3. Vote for the other party's candidate.

4. Abstain

I'm sure any of us can play out the possibilities and permutations. If more than one, maybe two, repubicans does other than number 1, the shit will be bouncing off the fan blades and anything becomes possible.

Including Speaker Pelosi.

Which would be delicious.

And cause heads to explode.
