it's not fully automatic weapon, like the AK 47 where you just hold the trigger and go all "Rambo". Those type of weapons with very exceptions are banned from civilian use as they should be. I know people who have AR-15's and they use it like any other rifle, they go the range, some hunt with it. If there is any fantasy it's that guns like the AR-15 look military weapons, but they certainly don't work like them.
