I can suggest some books on the topic.
The Red Queen: Sex and the Evolution of Human Nature by Matt Ridley
Anatomy of Love: A Natural History of Mating, Marriage, and Why We Stray by Helen Fisher
It is a field that has been well researched.
Physical attractiveness is the degree to which a person's physical traits are regarded as aesthetically pleasing or beautiful. The term often implies sexual attractiveness or desirability, but can also be distinct from the two; for example, humans may regard the young as attractive for various reasons, but without sexual attraction. There are many factors which influence one person's attraction to another, with physical aspects being one of them. In many cases, humans attribute positive characteristics, such as intelligence and honesty, to physically attractive people without consciously realizing it.[5] From research done in the United States and United Kingdom, it was found that the association between intelligence and physical attractiveness is stronger among men than among women.[6] In recent times, evolutionary psychologists have tried to answer why individuals who are more physically attractive should also on average be more intelligent, and have put forward the notion that both general intelligence and physical attractiveness may be indicators of underlying genetic fitness.[7]
Physical attractiveness is a characteristic that suggests fertility and health. These factors contribute to the probability of survival and reproduction for continuing life on Earth.[8] Men, on average, tend to be attracted to women who are shorter than they are, have a youthful appearance, and exhibit features such as a symmetrical face,[9] full breasts, full lips, and a low waist-hip ratio.[10] Women, on average, tend to be attracted to men who are taller than they are, display a high-degree of facial symmetry, masculine facial dimorphism, and who have broad shoulders, a relatively narrow waist, and V-shaped torso.[11][12]
More at link. Long article, well worth the read.

there have been plenty of times during history when heavy women were considered sexy

But the point of the article is about how women view themselves, despite society

Oh, it's funny how money seems to make up for a lack of looks with some people.

Yes, but this article is about the way the women should be shown to see themselves

I get what you're saying about evolution (while missing the point of the piece), but

The problem with this theory is that there's no universal standard for beauty
