Just saying.
There are MORE people in DC than in Wyoming. DC pays the same taxes as the rest of the country and still has no representation in DC other than a non-voting representative. What's worse, our US Congress can actually make laws for DC, like when Kay Bailey Hutchison wanted to bring Texas style gun laws to DC.
I would love to add Puerto Rico to our country but only if we also bring Washington DC in as well.
Edit NOte: I know i started this thread awhile back but I wanted to modify the thread to say that we should consider it but the final decision on DC should not hold back PR.
