"Cheat sheet" is a loser [View all]

We really need to drop this. Here's why:

1) It doesn't matter because the debate doesn't matter;

2) The President really was awful; crying "cheat sheet" makes us look like sore losers;

3) Romney is actually a better all-around debater than Obama, as was clear from the primaries;

But more than anything else...

4) On a day that the GOP looks asinine for ascribing the job numbers to a conspiracy, we risk losing the moral high ground by putting on our own tinfoil and treating a Youtube clip like it's the Zapruder film.

I don't disagree that the GOP is despicable and Romney would have no problem with cheating. I just think we can win this thing on its merits, and that crying "cheater" -- something we'll never, ever prove -- actually weakens us.
