That was the same Obama as always on stage.

His job was to let Romney attack and either decrease his likability more or say enough to let Obama's team attack him later.
Once again lying did not "win" the convention coverage for the GOP. I fail to see how it is going to "win" the debate. The only way Romney wins is if Obama's people aren't out tomorrow covering the lies. In other words in 24hrs if you don't see or hear from them, then Romney won the debate. I'd be shocked because it is counter to Obama's whole campaign to date. They've labeled Ryan and Romney liars and it's stuck. So it shouldn't be hard to cut up and use the debate totally to play that angle. Will they... why wouldn't they.
