(12,233 posts)47. Yeah, it has.
The French study on GMO foods was fascinating. Long term use of the food for rats created cancer. Is there a wonder why cancer is on the rise? On top of that, GMO foods mainly were made to resist round up. A poison that says on the side of the bottle, if ingested, call the poison control center. Does that sound like something that should be sprayed all over our foods?
And then, they take the frank enfold to a factory and insert numerous chemicals and dyes and fake flavoring and HFCS to send out onto the shelves.
Don't even think about factory farmed meat.
We need sustainable farming and time to cook real food.

If the seeds are "viable' and farmers can use them, what's wrong with GMO ?

The Corporations that poison us should pay %100 of our health care or give it up.

I'm already boycotting them ALL. I don't eat out often and I try to eat very few processed foods.

And it's a shame that Heinz got its start as a provider of pure foods in an "anything goes" era.

These are all processed junk food. They would be terrible even if not GMO.

You have exceedingly stringent standards for what you consider to be junk food, then.
