Walsh has an approval rating of only 35%. 46% disapprove of his job performance.
50% of people surveyed have a favorable opinion of Duckworth. Only 32% have an unfavorable opinion of her.
The same poll of the 8th Congressional District found President Obama leading Romney, 53% to 40%.

Oddly, in my neighborhood the yard signs are at least 10:1 in favor of Walsh.

I live in this area and volunteered for Melissa Bean earlier...Walsh beat her by 295 votes.
