I was raised as a member of the "East Coast Jewish Liberal Elite", as some would put it. I recently found out that my dad's first job out of law school was on the ACLU team defending the 1st Amendment rights of Jack Kerouac and William S. Burroughs [he told me that shortly before his death in 2010]. Somehow, I ended up in Iowa, where I caucused for Obama back in 2008. One of my biggest concerns is the Religious Right using "Sharia Law" as a false flag to pass Christian legislation.Avatar Image
