"What has Obama done?"

That was the question two of my friends were asking tonight. I have seen a website that lists all his accomplishments, but I cannot find it. Does anyone have a good link? They wanted me to send it to them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Romney Team Preps for Grocery Store Visit

Romney Team Preps for Grocery Store Visit

Ok, governor, first, as soon as you enter the store, you need to get either a shopping cart or a shopping basket. That's where you are going to put all your purchases. Even though you are only getting a few things, it would probably be best to get the cart. Yeah, just go with the cart. Now you just need to--

Uh, no, the cart is not hard to use; you just push it with your hands. It’s not electric or anything. It’s not like a golf cart. Oh, yeah, I forgot—there are a few electric, sit-down carts. Do not use one of those! Those are used by the elderly or anyone else who might have a hard time walking around the store. Just stick with the regular carts. They sorta look like metal cages on wheels.

Ok? Ok. Now, food items are usually arranged in aisles according to what type of food they are. So, dairy products, for example, are grouped together, as is meat, etc, etc. Same with paper products. All in one aisle. Now, all you need to do is casually push your cart around the store looking for the items. Stores don’t all have the same layout. Some have the produce on the left, some have it on the right. This is normal! Do not panic at all. Just act casually, like you are taking a casual stroll in the park. Sorry, like you are taking a walk around the grounds of one of your houses. Anyway, they have signs above each aisle or section that tell you what’s there. Just look at them to guide you. Now—

No, no. The stores aren’t that large! You will do fine with those cage carts. Do not use those sit-down things! With all due respect, governor, it would look utterly ridiculous if you rode around on one of those sit-down carts. Again, the stores aren’t that large. You should be able to do it all on foot.

Ok, now, if you have a hard time finding an item in the store, do not panic. Just ask an employee to direct you to that item. This is very normal. Do not threaten to fire them if they don't direct you to that item. They will. It's totally normal. Actually, I really should stress this: Do not threaten to fire anyone in the store for whatever reason. They will be very friendly with you and will try their best to help. Even though it is your first time in a supermarket, no one knows that. They won’t mock you or anything.

Now, you're gonna have to pay for these items. You are aware of that, right? Ok, ok, I thought so. Anyway, when you have all the items in your cart, just proceed to the checkout area, where the cash registers are. There are various types of lines here. Go to the one that has an actual person behind the register. Make very sure that you do not go to the self check-out lines. That, that...would just be a... a total disaster... They are very complicated. Just go to the line with an actual human there and you’re fine.

There are various ways to pay, but you’re going to pay with cash. That is the easiest. And if the cashier asks if you would like to make a small donation to a charity or something, just tell them, “No, fuck you!” And then you are set. Just leave the store pushing the cart to your car.

'I don't think Mitt Romney understands what he's done to people's lives by closing the plant'

'I don't think Mitt Romney understands what he's done to people's lives by closing the plant'
by Jed Lewison

Another emotionally powerful ad from the pro-Obama Super PAC Priorities USA, this one featuring the story of Joe Soptic, a former employee of the Bain-owned GST Steel plant who lost his job—and the health insurance that could have saved his wife from cancer—when Bain shut down the company:

Joe Soptic, former employee at GST Steel in Kansas City, Kansas.

I don’t think Mitt Romney understands what he’s done to people’s lives by closing the plant.

I don’t think he realizes that people’s lives completely changed.

When Mitt Romney and Bain closed the plant, I lost my healthcare, and my family lost their healthcare. And a short time after that my wife became ill.

I don’t know how long she was sick and I think maybe she didn’t say anything because she knew that we couldn’t afford the insurance, and then one day she became ill and I took her up to the Jackson County Hospital and admitted her for pneumonia and that’s when they found the cancer and by then it was stage four. It was, there was nothing they could do for her.

And she passed away in 22 days.

I do not think Mitt Romney realizes what he’s done to anyone, and furthermore I do not think Mitt Romney is concerned.

ANNCR: Priorities USA Action is responsible for the content of this advertising.

Priorities USA says this is the last of five ads in their initial $20 million ad campaign introducing swing-state voters to Mitt Romney's record at Bain. Their initial buy was considerably smaller—just $4 million—but has since expanded thanks to additional fundraising.

While their first ad focused on Mitt Romney's "heads I win, tails you lose" business philosophy, this ad goes straight after Romney's lack of empathy and lack of understanding. That doesn't reflect a change in strategy so much as the fact that the earlier ads, by defining Romney's approach to business, laid the foundation for this sort of critique of Romney. To understand how effective it has been, you need not look beyond the fact that Mitt Romney spent a good chunk of June and July trying to distance himself from Bain.

Last week, Priorities USA announced it was reserving $30 million in ad time for the fall campaign.

School Forces Girls To Take Pregnancy Tests, Expelled if Positive/Refuse

School Forces Girls To Take Pregnancy Tests, Expelled if Positive/Refuse
by LieparDestin

Who says time travel is impossible? Louisiana is doing a great job of taking us to the previous century:

A public school has sparked outrage by forcing its female students to take pregnancy tests - and then kicking out those that come back positive or refuse to do so.

Delhi Charter School, in Delhi, Louisiana, has come under fire for its policy that campaigners say is 'clearly illegal under federal laws'.

Under the new rules, a teacher can 'require' a student to have a test if they suspect she could be pregnant.

That's right. Mandated medical procedures or you lose your hopes of an education/future. Where is the great freedom fighter Bobby Jindal when you need him? And how exactly does one 'suspect' someone is pregnant. Are all teachers taking medical classes now? Does a peanut butter and pickle sandwich in their lunchbox trigger some alarm? Do 'heavier' girls get suspected more often? Tons of questions arise.

If the test comes back positive, the policy states: 'The student will not be permitted to attend classes on the campus of Delhi Charter School.

'She will be required to pursue a course of home study.

Banishment to home, forced isolation from friends. Shaming. There can be no other word for it.

But wait... Im no expert (Im not a teacher), but I do believe it takes two people to bring about a pregnancy. So obviously if a male student gets a female student pregnant, he to engaged in sexual activity and is cast from the community:

This is because, they say, it treats female students differently from male students and relies on archaic stereotypes linked to sex and pregnancy.

Esman added: 'Male students who might also have engaged in sexual activity or be expecting children are not subjected to similar treatment.'

As one ACLU represenative says:

'Pregnancy is not a disease, and schools may not treat it that way

But then again, what can we expect from a state that shuns sexual education and birth control?

Chick-fil-A Introduces New Hate Sauce

Chick-fil-A Introduces New Hate Sauce
Posted by Andy Borowitz

NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report)—Customers across the nation who turned out for Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day were in for a surprise, as the chicken restaurant chose today to launch a new product, Hate Sauce.

Delighted customers mobbed the restaurants to try the zesty new sauce, with many chicken fanciers ordering their sandwiches with extra hate. “It’s so spicy it makes your mouth feel like it’s on fire—like a gay couple in hell,” said Harland Dorrinson, who sampled the sauce at a Chick-fil-A in Orlando.

But even as Chick-fil-A prepared to call its new hate sauce an instant hit, it faced a challenge from an upstart rival, Wing-n-nuts.

The rival chain, based in Falls Church, Virginia, chose today to introduce a new product targeting Chick-fil-A patrons, the Chicken Bacon Bigotwich.

“We think we’re going to take a big bite out of Chick-fil-A’s customer base,” said Wing-n-nuts corporate spokesperson Carol Foyler. “Their founder is anti-gay. But ours is anti-gay, anti-immigrant, and anti-woman. When word gets out about that, there’ll be lines around the block.”
