RUDE PUNDIT: The Trump Administration Wants to See How Racist It Can Be

8/07/2018

......................

What they want to do now is get rid of legal immigrants and they're gonna contort the fuckin' law to do it so they don't need congressional approval. The plan: "immigrants living legally in the U.S. who have ever used or whose household members have ever used Obamacare, children's health insurance, food stamps and other benefits could be hindered from obtaining legal status in the U.S." You got that? You have a kid who's a U.S. citizen and is on CHIP? No green card for you. You have a green card and get an Obamacare subsidy? No citizenship and, hey, we'll take that green card away. Back to the unstable visa system for you or, the real goal, deportation.

How fucked do you have to be to believe that this is in any way good for the country? You gotta be some bullshit white genocide-believing, Nazi-loving motherfucker to go along with this. Or, you know, an average Republican in this worthless age of Trump.

So you can live in this country legally for years, have kids here, and pay your taxes. But if you avail yourself of something that your taxes are helping to fund, you can go fuck off back to Mexico or whatever shithole you came from. You're a "public charge" now, even if you're just getting the barest of help from the government.

...............

Here you go, Republicans. Another shot to stand up and say to Trump, "No. Fuck this. This is too far. Fire that Miller cockhole and act like you're a goddamned human being." Except you won't. Because it is you. It has been you for decades. You're just finally getting to be your worst selves.

"I was living beyond my means ... I regret it ... I'm taking responsibility for it. I made a mistake"

If they do it often it isn't a mistake it's just their behavior......

RICK GATES, on why he stole from PAUL MANAFORT: "In essence, I was living beyond my means … I regret it … I'm taking responsibility for it. I made a mistake."

@kenvogel

I just asked KEVIN DOWNING whether RICK GATES’s remorse & his matter-of-fact admission of his lies & misdeeds had effectively inoculated him against the defense's efforts to cast him as an untrustworthy narrator. “I’m going to wait. We’ll see what the jury says.”

GOP poll workers in Missouri got lost during their lunch break -- and voters were turned away

"One Republican poll worker had a family emergency and left," said Eric Fey, St. Louis County's Democratic director of elections. The other two left for lunch, apparently got lost and didn't come back, he said.

"It was just like a comedy of errors," Fey said. It is unclear how many people were turned away during the 45 minutes it took to get more Republican poll workers to the school, which also had three Democratic poll workers on site.

......................

Fey said his office found out about the sudden absence of Republican poll workers from the Democrats, who shut down voting — something Fey says they should not have done.

"I would have preferred for them to keep going," he said.

There were other problems as well.

Fey said some poll workers were misunderstanding tickets that come out of an electronic sign-in system and were mistakenly giving voters nonpartisan ballots. Those nonpartisan ballots show only the issues, such as Proposition A, and do not include party primary races for county executive or county prosecutor, for example.

Manafort's former tax accountant fired by firm after testimony

Paul Manafort’s former accountant was fired from a Virginia firm after she told the court she was aware that Manafort’s tax returns contained false information.

Cindy Laporta testified Friday in the government’s case against the former Trump campaign chairman, saying she went along with the scam because she was worried Manafort and his right-hand-man Rick Gates would sue. Laporta was given immunity from prosecution for her testimony.

Virginia-based Kositzka, Wicks & Co. said in a statement Tuesday it was “shocked by Ms. Laporta’s testimony, which clearly represents that she failed to meet the firm’s high standards for professional and ethical conduct in her work for Mr. Manafort.” In a follow-up email, the company said: “She is no longer working here.”
