I was a chubby kid - and I’ve had to count calories all my life. And one of the first things I learned, way early, was strategic dressing to emphasize the vertical and minimize the horizontal. Encourage the eye away from how broad your middle is. Vertical lines ONLY. You want to imply length, NOT width. P

And bright colors and pastels are NOT your friends. All they do is scream for attention. Why not just cut to the chase and wear a neon sign?
