(2,479 posts)They both listed things they thought made each other, unqualified.
Saying she didn't speak the words, when listing qualities after Scarborough asked the question four or five times, is just semantics. She definitely implied it. He did too. So here we are, both candidates should stop doing that, the media got what it wanted at least for a bit.
As far as I can tell, the round table has been highly negative of Sanders today, more than the usual hatchet job.

That my eyeballs are going to fall out my head from rolling them so much. Watching BS talking on TV lately, it seems like every sentence out of his mouth is calculated to piss me off.

Don't give me ideas...I'd like to keep my TV in working order.
I'll vote for him in the general election if he was the nominee (which fortunately WON'T happen!), but he's really getting on my nerves.
Well said, Cha!

(298,037 posts)he's the way he is.. just showing how lucky we are that he's not ever going to be in the White House. the media needs to start calling him on his lies.

(13,570 posts)Yes, she said that. That is NOT close to saying he was outright unqualified. She was saying he needed to do his homework better and get his facts together so that he has the right knowledge base to lead the nation. Again, that is nowhere near saying that he is "unqualified." And a day later she said she'd take Bernie over the RePUKES anytime. There was a real difference between what she said and what he said.

(15,438 posts)As one of the tens of millions of employers assessing whether Sanders is fit to succeed President Obama, I have to say that his lying, his half-truths, his Republican tactics, his broken promises of not campaigning negatively, his tacit approval of Republicans paying for and airing negative political ads against Hillary...he's failed to convince me to choose him for the top position pretty much since the data theft and then the lawsuit threat that Weaver blustered about.

Bernie Sanders questions Hillary Clinton's "judgment"
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has already walked back his accusation that Hillary Clinton is "not qualified" to be president, but he still questioned her "judgment" Sunday morning.
"Well, we were attacked pretty harshly by the Clinton campaign who suggested that I was not qualified," he said on CBS' "Face the Nation," in response to a question about Clinton's qualifications. "We responded by saying you know what, a candidate who receives an enormous amount of money from special interests, a candidate who voted for the war in Iraq, a candidate who voted for virtually every disastrous trade policy which has cost us millions of jobs, well you know what? Maybe her judgment is not quite as high as it should be."
Sanders sharpened his tone against Clinton last week as the campaign heads toward the April 19 New York primary, culminating in him telling a crowd of supporters of Clinton: "I don't believe that she is qualified." He later backtracked, saying on Friday that "of course" she is qualified to be president.
