(16,286 posts)disgusting pigs, Christie and Jones, on the losing end.
I have a confession...
When I was a wee lad, about 7 yrs old, my best friends dad was a Cowboy's fan, my dad wasnt a football fan, so I became a Cowboy's fan because of my friends dad.
When I grew to the age of reason, 12 or so, I became an Oakland Raiders fan, having met many of them at training camp.
I was still a slightly leaning Cowboy fan the day of:
"The Catch", Watching the game in a room full of 49er fans, some real fans who were fans prior to "The Catch" and some new fans; as those of you who know, the Niners were crap until that season, and until that catch, not going to the playoffs.
From that moment on I retained my love of the Raiders but instantly grew to hate the Cowboy's and love the Niners.
And just in time to watch several years of amazing, insanely good football with Mr. Montana and company, then later Mr. Young.
