I watched too many episodes of "House of Cards".
I’m happy things are going this well. VP Harris was my kind of senator. She’ll be an incredible campaigner and a strong, competent president.
I seem to recall, in recent weeks, that there was a faction ($$$) who not only called on Biden to step down, but also insinuated Harris wasn’t the guaranteed candidate, either (see AOC comments on 7/20). Several unattributed remarks were reported about who would be the best candidate for the democrats. How would the candidate be chosen, etc.? There were opinion columnist suggesting an open convention would be good for democrats as recently as yesterday. So, I wonder whose backstage maneuvers have been thwarted? It would satisfy me to know that any bad actors were caught by surprise and had the breath knocked out of them over the last two days.
Also, I hadn’t seen any evidence that the anti-Biden forces had prepared a campaign launch or any significant planning to run a national campaign. It looks like they were ready on Sunday. This is also an interesting, but yet unknown, part of the story. I can’t wait to learn all about it.
The only important thing now is to defeat trump (and his many allies). It will be a pleasure to watch VP Harris prosecute the case.

I believe that's the most likely scenario.
If the media’s 24/7 public relations campaign is still focused on democrats *and* there’s some question about Harris being the nominee by end of day Thursday…that should land like a revelation from God.
It was a 3 week public relations campaign, 24/7 with a complicit media.
Joe Biden was forced out. Let’s not revise history.
Because the media was harnessed into a 3 week long PR campaign.
Look into what Charles M. Blow wrote about all of this around July 7th:
1). “ At a certain point, the chattering class and the donor class will have done so much damage to Biden - far more than the debate itself - that they will ensure that he can't be elected.”
2). “ The news media feeds on narrative: underdog uprising, fall from grace, comeback, tragedy, protest, murder, calamity, victory of the villain. Don't expect it to let up on the "fall of Biden" narrative. It is now invested. The narrative is the news.”

I grow weary of the unnecessary hypotheticals.
If hypotheticals are your thing, by all means, indulge. As for me, I don’t find them constructive or based in reality (Michelle Obama?).
If one is serious about this manipulated crisis, let’s evaluate the 3 weeks of evidence calling for Biden to step down. One debate and proprietary polling have not convinced me this is anything more than a PR campaign that benefits RWNJs — not democrats. Something is very wrong and I don’t think it’s Joe Biden.

Well, my mama didn’t raise no fool. Show me the evidence (beyond one debate), explain the strategy (with transparency) and tell me all about your plan to win the presidency. Also, how do you plan to evaluate your plan? How will you know if it’s working?
