Russia's Zhirinovsky calls to revoke Obama's Nobel Peace Prize
http://en.rian.ru/world/20110321/163134252.html

and the hits just keep on coming.

<snip>Russia's head of the Liberal Democratic Party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, has appealed to the Nobel Prize Committee to revoke U.S. President Barack Obama's Nobel Prize, the party's press service said in a statement on Monday.

Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 for his commitment to non-proliferation of nuclear weapons.

"The situation in Libya is yet another shocking act of aggression by NATO forces and in particular by the United States. This is a clear reflection of colonial policy. This is another crude invasion into the domestic affairs of an independent state. There is only one goal: to take control of Libyan oil and the Libyan regime and not saving the Libyan people," the press service quoted Zhirinovsky as saying.<snip>

Russian Rightist Backs Buchanan - February 23th 1996

<snip>

"GOP presidential candidate Pat Buchanan may be getting the cold shoulder from practically everyone in his own party, but he picked up a ringing endorsement yesterday from rabid Russian ultra-nationalist Vladimir Zhirinovsky.

The right-wing Russian said he hoped they could work together as fellow presidents to deport Jews.

"You say that Congress is 'Israeli-occupied territory.' We have the same situation in Russia. So, to survive, we could set aside places on U.S. and Russian territory to deport this small but troublesome tribe," Zhirinovsky wrote in a letter to Buchanan, according to the Interfax news agency.

The Buchanan camp couldn't be reached for comment."

Yes his party is called the "Liberal Democratic Party". But like I said, he's a lying POS. Check him out if you don't believe me.

10. yeah, I looked at the name of his party and the support for polygamy and
his populist BS and missed all his other issues.

Like I've always said... if you move far enough to the right OR left you find yourself on the other side. The far right and far left come close to meeting at some point.

11. I sort of agree
It's hard to see someone who's run up the body count in Afghanistan and Pakistan be hailed as a peace maker.

12. Do some research on that guy before posting a report of anything
he says. Are you THAT desperate to be right in Libya?
