So Anderson COURIC& Katie COOPER prefer natural news disasters as opposed to people-disasters/events
Just saying: Anderson won his cred in Katrina. Both of them were RUN out of Egypt from threatening crowds. Face to face with enraged PEOPLE they can't handle. But natural disasters WHO DON'T TALK BACK, that's manageable. To be fair, I haven't seen Katie anywhere, am looking at Anderson.

But, they at least went to Egypt while Diane SAWYER wore some spike-heeled and black hose treading on a floor map of Egypt.

3. THey are actually more dramatic and easier to cover
than oh labor struggles, Those are so last century.

By the way, if they suddenly pay attention to wisconsin we have gone from nightmare to apocalyptic.

Yes THEY COULD cover both, if they wanted to.

5. I agree. Of course Anderson should be covering Japan, but he should have
been covering Wisconsin as well. CNN has all but ignored Madison.

4. What is your contention?
Seriously... I'm not sure I get the point you are making...

Are AC and KC not taking enough risk for your news entertainment? Are they taking the wrong risks? Are they not behaving as journalists?

I'm glad AC is covering the Japan situation... However, it's qualitatively different coverage than say, Al Jazeera English... Maybe it smacks of some brand building vs. pure reporting.

As I type, I think I'm feeling,.. I want journalism across the board... where the story is the focus... not just some rock stars (who are good journalists) that become the focus.
