...and "they" -- one could suspect -- might want/need Guantanamo kept open for a pointing-the-finger-at-detainees distraction, i.e., as a perennial, continuing, self-serving, "concrete smokescreen" from re-focus on 9/11...against growing national awareness -- e.g., petition by New Yorkers, a large number of whom lost family in 9/11, for ballot initiative calling for an
independent, impartial subpoena powered investigation of 9/11 (NY politicos stopped it in 2009, despite
80,000 signees) -- that the
initial WhiteWash 9/11 Commission Report, which excluded 2007-confirmed testimony by
Norman Mineta of
VP Dick Cheney (post-1993
AEI, two-term director of
Council of Foreign Relations, former
CEO Haliburton)
standing down against attack on the Pentagon, apparently isn't "cutting it" for more and more Americans becoming aware of 2009-reported scientific findings of '
Active Thermitic Material in WTC Dust'. "They" mustn't allow New York to get-the-issue-on-the-ballot, because "they" would have to
switch too many liberal-
NY lever votes (!) from 'yes' to 'no' than credibility would allow.
...and "they" who control the so-called "GOP" today -- morphed-enough for lifelong Republican
Susan Eisenhower (and a known 344,000 other Repubs between 2006-2008, from just 29 states keeping records) to
de-register from a "hijacked"-GOP that "bears no resemblance to Lincoln, Roosevelt or Eisenhower's party" -- have been "controlling the
VOTE COUNT" since at least 1988. In 2004, "they" started exploiting a
new technique, courtesy the 2002 "Help (Steal) America's Vote Act, after 9/11, after "their" Supreme Court (s)elected Bush in the 2000 election, and after the 1996 Telecommunications Act.
...and "their" propaganda-controlling media-consortium (inclusive NewsCorps' Fox News)
suppressed release of its contracted exit pollster's
preliminary-national and independent
state exit polls altogether in 2008, after the
consortium failed in 2004 (per
Washington Post) "to update its exit polling with the results of later interviewing that found Bush with a one-point lead" before -- and possibly during the "computer glitch" downtime that night -- the
Post published the exit-pollster's own last preliminary results (Kerry leading 51-48%, 1% MoE, 13047 random interviews).
Notice how the True Vote calculation for 2004 makes use of the exit-pollster's
Prelim NEP vote shares as reported 12:22am in the
Washington Post and not the
impossible vote-shares that appeared next afternoon in the
Final NEP, resultant its
forced match with the official 2004 vote-count share (implicit, thereby, impossible as well).

you'll see an announcement about the suppression of the prelim and state exit polls by the National Election Pool and absence of data that was available in 2004.
BTW, "they" were unable to control the rejection by Californians of CEO Whitman and CEO Fiorina in 2010, despite indication the
Prop 8 result in 2008 was election-fraudulent. After seeing former CEO Cheney "in action" standing down on 9/11 and Cheny-enabled BP CEO Tony Hayward "in action"
serving BP interest and not the public interest in the Gulf cleanup, the
LESS CEO GESTALT IN GOVERNMENT THE BETTER.
