Venice, Versailles, Vienna..

At least the ruling class in places like those had the decency and taste to have amassed things worth seeing for centuries.

Ours is only going to leave behind empty strip shopping centers, missing mountaintops and mountains of Chinese crap.

1. As a lover of architecture, old and new, I am saddened to know that....
......most all of the newest, most technically advanced, unique and unusual buildings are going up NOT in the US. China, the Emirates, Japan, Saigon have fascinating structures being built.

6. I'm a bit of a knuckledragger myself, and I have a low threshold for what I consider art.
But anything that pisses off Michelle Malkin has merit. http://michellemalkin.com/2005/05/31/special-report-a-closer-look-at-anti-bush-art/
