Remember a couple years ago when a crazed gunman went to Ted Haggard's old digs, the New Life Church in Colorado Springs, and started shooting? Two people were killed, but security guard Jeanne Assam stepped into the fray, shot the crazed gunman, and saved many lives.

Well, guess what. Jeanne Assam is no longer welcome at the New Life Church, because she came out as a lesbian.

How fucking Christian of them.

This church hasn't caught up to the fact that the world loves lesbians better than any other brand of person.

A local church maybe could invite her to their congregation in a call and then a press release, if she even wants to bother with a church anymore. That would be a nice healer for that nasty wound. like that Jesus speaking out, defending a woman others were about to stone. the church wants to be like Jesus, don't it?

5. This really upsets me for that woman...think about it, being a member of a church is like

being in family. this has got to hurt terribly.

I really, really hope a more loving church with a congregation that accepts all, will speak up locally and invite her in.

everyone gets a pile of hurt in their life, and we all know what it takes to heal it.

Btw, and just in case: I'm sick of churches in general, so please don't invite me.
