What I don't get is public workers pay part of their own
salaries through their taxes. So how are they parasites? If anything we're getting a real deal, with them paying part of their pay. Right?

5. Sorry... that's not a logical argument.
If we increase their salaries tenfold, their taxes will go up even more than that... but we certainly wouldn't be getting their services at a "discounted rate".
