4. I was actually in a union once.

Living most of my life in Arizona, plus the last 25 years working on the family ranch didn't give much opportunity. However in 1976 I joined the Restaurant and Hotel Workers (hope I am remembering the name right) union when I lived in Anchorage AK for 9 months.

I was just a kid but it was an experience I have always remembered.
