In light of the events in Wisconsin, do you support a recall election to remove Governor Scott Walker?
Please explain your vote for the position you have taken.

1. It's going to take a commitment to hold that thought til Jan 2012
Just so there is no misunderstanding about why nothing will seem to be happening.

2. Change can happen now

Enough legislative Repugs are eligible for recall that would throw the legislature back into Democratic hands.

4. Not a Wisconsin resident, but this a$$hat Walker can't be recalled fast enough
There likely won't be much of a problem assembling the 500K signatures for the recall.

9. Maybe sloppy clicking,
but DU isn't always a troll-free zone.

Let them play. They aren't changing anything here.

10. I don't support recalls
I think that people should serve the term they were elected for (except for cases of criminality, advancement, etc.).

13. Not a likely outcome. The best that can happen is for the dems in the legislature
to do the best they can at stalling, and be as LOUD as possible about the injustices, and when it's time to elect new people, get out there and remind people of all they have lost, and tell them how to get it back..

When we got stuck with Issa's phony recall shit and ended up with Ahhhhnold, it did not happen overnight, and it took a long time to play out since people were stupid enough to re-elect him..

Elections have consequences..it's just that simple.

If the dems stayed away in droves last time around, and allowed this goofball to win, and for Feingold to be defeated, then this is what everyone ends up with until enough people get pissed off enough to throw them out & start all over..

"This is why we can't have nice things", folks.. we have a pinball approach to elections, and are always careening around ..bouncing from one flipper to another.

One leader sets up long-range plans for this or that, and the next one in cancels it & give the money to his pals..and then the next one comes in & re-starts the other thing and now it costs 10x more, and then the people get pissed & vote in another wacko..rinse repeat..
