Glenn Beck Goes Off The Deep End And Attacks Google
On his Fox News television program today, Glenn Beck warned his viewers not to use Google anymore. Beck said, “May I recommend if you are doing your own homework, don’t do a Google search. Seems to me that Google is pretty deeply in bed with the government. Remember, maybe this is explaining why Google is being kicked out of all the other countries?”

Beck said, “Is anybody willing to do their own homework, because the media’s not going to. Start looking at who they’re connected to. Can you just look at all these? By the way also, I would look into all the people the State Department are working with MSNBC, CBS, MTV. Maybe we should start watching those networks a little bit and seeing what their news coverage is like? Who are these groups? Who are they? Are they right? Are they left? Are they clean? Are they dirty? Are they front groups? I don’t know.”

Beck launched into his great Google conspiracy, “May I recommend if you are doing your own homework, don’t do a Google search. Seems to me that Google is pretty deeply in bed with the government. Remember, maybe this is explaining why Google is being kicked out of all the other countries? Are they just a shill now for the United States government? Who is Jared Cohen? Is he private citizen or government operative, and isn’t this the second Google guy we’ve found? This is the second Google executive now being exposed an instigator of a revolution. Are you comfortable with the government partnering covertly with media organizations, search engines, social networking so they can bring change that the Washington elites have designed?”

17. I think there might be something to this. I can't remember who it was but...
...I was reading somewhere where Beck is now responsible for producing upwards of 6 hours of content a day. Some of it it not directly "performed" by him but by henchthings for an internet-only post show or something like that. But it's worth keeping an eye on because if an outfit can produce that kind of content there might be the possibility of scooping up a few dying stations in markets with his type of audience and being able to legitimately threaten to start his own network.

He's a modern-ish version of Huey P. Long and I could see him either A) losing his mind and just putting a .38 bullet through his head on live tv someday or B) ruthlessly attempting to consolidate power around a cult a personality for himself. I could easily see Beck singing "Every Man A King" at a piano with six-guns on his hips, wearing a Reagan mask.

for Beck's hatred. Remember: his list of the "intelligent minority" determined to destroy the US had 8 Jews out of 9 members on the list.

But I've also heard there are stories going around in conservative circles that google is secretly a liberal entity and that, somehow, their search engines give results favorable to liberals. Good conservatives, from what I understand, use Bing. They love them some Bill Gates, especially with his stand on public education.

Edited on Tue Feb-15-11 12:41 AM by CommonSensePLZ
I recommend this link:

http://www.cracked.com/article_18540_5-reasons-you-should-be-scared-google.html

Eric Schmidt: "true transparency and no anonymity" is the way forward for the internet: "In a world of asynchronous threats it is too dangerous for there not to be some way to identify you. We need a name service for people. Governments will demand it." He also said that "If I look at enough of your messaging and your location, and use artificial intelligence, we can predict where you are going to go. Show us 14 photos of yourself and we can identify who you are. You think you don't have 14 photos of yourself on the internet? You've got Facebook photos! ... the reality is that search engines — including Google — do retain this information for some time and it's important, for example, that we are all subject in the United States to the Patriot Act and it is possible that all that information could be made available to the authorities" ... Privacy International ranked Google as "Hostile to Privacy", its lowest rating on their report, making Google the only company in the list to receive that ranking. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google#Privacy

Google also owns YouTube, probably the largest database of user posted videos and comments online, has satellites that can see everyone at any time (GoogleEarth, GoogleMaps), Stephen Colbert has mentioned they have an, if I'm recalling correctly, underwater database of all the data they collect. You think once you're done with that search for "lolcats" it goes away? NO. They keep it and the IP address it came from.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/08/26/stephen-colbert-google-ceo_n_695459.html

DON'T TRUST GOOGLE. We're entering a new age in information now. It will soon be paramount that we draw a new line in the sand and define what information people have rights to and what privacy people have rights to and Google doesn't give a fuck about your privacy and their ethical fiber is VERY questionable.

29. I'm scared....I think I can account for Beck's new delusion and how it weaves into
his derangement syndrome.

Wael Ghonim is Google's head of marketing in the Middle East & West Africa. He's also credited as one of the leaders in the revolution. He was one of the moderators on the FB page that was used for communicating (e.g.) protest locations. That got shut down pretty quickly. His backup was Google Groups -- they sent messages out that way.

Now, for most of us, the Egyptian revolution was an incredible and wonderful thing.

Not so for Glenny dear. Glenn wove it neatly into his wackadoodle overarching theory that essentially involves the end of the Western way of life. All the insane, paranoid stuff that you hear people spouting....much of it comes from his deranged theories.

Okay, so prepare yourself to enter Beck's thought processes for a minute. This is what Beck is telling his idiot minions about the Egypt revolution (Media Matters):

This isn't about politics. This is about world domination. The world is about to be dominated by maybe a couple of handfuls.

I believe, that I can make a case in the end that there are three powers you will see emerge.

One: a Muslim caliphate that controls the Mideast and parts of Europe.

Two: China, that will control Asia, the southern half of Africa, part of the Middle East, Australia, maybe New Zealand, and God only knows what else.

And, Russia, which will control all of the old former Soviet Union bloc, plus maybe the Netherlands. Not really sure. But their strong arm is coming.

-----------------------

BECK: America, what you're really seeing is actually a repudiation of everything we think we know. This is -- this is Woodrow Wilson, repudiated. This is Saul Alinsky. This is STORM from Van Jones. This is "The Coming Insurrection." That's what really we should be paying attention to.

It's the U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon who said over the weekend at Davos that capitalism is environmental suicide. And there needs to be, quote, "a revolution." Oh! Well, that's helpful while the streets are on fire.

The former Soviet Union, everybody, radical Islam, every -- this is the story of everyone who has ever plotted to or wanted to fundamentally change or destroy the Western way of life. This isn't about Egypt. Everything is up on the table.

Now, here's where we come in. Well, we (and our leader Obama) are all through it because we're socialists/communists/leftists/liberals/working in cahoots with all the enemies/the radical fringe.

BECK: You see the evidence of it. We have evidence of the uber-left, the anarchists and the communists and the socialists, the radicals, sowing the seeds and helping those in Egypt. They -- all they want is more pressure on the United States. This isn't about the people there; this is about changing the globe, and I really believe that they think they will win in the end. Well, will you now? Dangerous game you're playing with billions of lives. It is a very dangerous game, and you need to know the connections. And this isn't about Barack Obama. This is so far beyond Congress and the next election. This is about our survival. The storm that I've talked about for many years is here. The Coming Insurrection is here.

Bill Ayers and Frances Fox Piven are woven in:

BECK: There's one other slogan that has jumped out at me as well. They were promoting the January 25th, the Friday protest and they came up with a title in advance for them. Did you happen to catch what it was called?

Friday, this, was called the "day of rage." Because I have read all about the Marxist and the revolutionaries in America, I recognize the "day of rage." Where have I heard that before?

Oh, yes, that's right. We heard it before in the 1960s with Bill Ayers and the Weather Underground. That's when they had the violent student riots in the 1960s. That was the day of rage.

Weather Underground talks about it in the Weather Underground's works. Huh, coincidence?

By the way, day of rage -- wasn't Frances Fox Piven recently just saying, where is the rage? Where is the outrage? Where is the anger? You've got get on the street and have riots and embrace your anger.

Why would anyone -- can you imagine if the Tea Parties called for a day of rage, what would be said? Something is wrong. Why in the world would Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn even care about Egypt at all? Oh, they do, they care deeply -- another connection. Next.

And for pete's sake, can't leave Code Pink out of the wacko theory!

BECK: There's a question I'm guessing no one will ever ask. Why were Bernadine Dohrn and Bill Ayers terrorists in the Weather Underground? And Code Pink founder Jodie Evans involved with the Muslim Brotherhood during in the Gaza flotilla.

So, in wackadoodle BecKKK world, we're ALL working together to come and git all of those lily white "real" Americans and take their guns & shit away. Google was involved in keeping communications between the protesters going, both because of the technology used and Ghonim. And Ghonim was one of the leaders in the revolution. And voila, you have a Google conspiracy!
