Holy crap, I think I agree with Carl Paladino.
"With the facts that I know, I don't think he should have resigned. We want someone perfect? He didn't commit a crime. He had a bad moment."

-- Former New York gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino (R), quoted by Politico, weighing in on yesterday's resignation of Rep. Chris Lee (R-NY).

2. Just think of the days of jokes that would
continue if he stayed in office. This way it's all over in a day or two. I don't think he has done anything worth resigning over, at least not by today's standards.

3. Of course, if Lee had emailed pictures of his bare chest to a guy,
Paladino wouldn't be saying that.

5. I think he was probably forced to resign. Or he was so embarrassed that
he couldn't stand it and had to resign immediately to make it go away quickly. There's a third idea I've been kicking around... What this guy did was pretty strange really, especially given his position, so maybe he is having some sort of mental breakdown or midlife crisis. People can do unusual things when they lose it. I mean, how in the world could he think he was not going to get caught? It was very irrational to think someone wouldn't recognize him.

8. He knew he had gotten away with only a warning before.
Seems he's been a player for quite a long time.

6. Just a bad moment??
He was willing to cheat on his wife.......
do you want a person like this deciding what is best for this country??
I don't
How much do we NOT know about his other bad moments??
He was willing to tell others what was wrong with their sex lives
so it is right to attack him for his.

That said:
People cheat on their spouses, it happens for numerous reasons.

7. I have n doubt his bad moment was not nearly as bad
Edited on Fri Feb-11-11 02:48 AM by Wash. state Desk Jet
as he may have hoped it could have been. Indeed now, it's not like he was caught in a airport bathroom stall with his pants down doing a little toe tapping with the next stall neighbor . But since you agree with Paladino or think you might, why don't you say where it all begins and where does it end. Did it begin with craigslist or did it branch out from some other thing he has to do ? Where does that sort of thing begin and where does it end ?

Haven't you head the saying turds of a feather flock together ! Paladino and Chris Lee- turds of a feather.

He resigned because he's toast-badly burned. Down there in western New York, they don't sport turd birds .This is not to say one doesn't slip in from time to time ,but when they do,they always fly off just like Lee did. Paladino too for that matter.

9. he was soliciting sex partners on craig's list. how does that stack up on the moral hierarchy v. a
blow job from an intern?

according to the pubs, a blow job from an intern is resignation material.

10. Beyond that, he had the nerve to approach someone who wanted to see if there were any decent guys
To be found. He has some nerve.
