Al Gore and KO together. Wow.
http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/02/08/media-olbermann-idUSN0829165420110208

(snip)

Former U.S. vice president Al Gore, Current Media's chairman and vice president, called Olbermann's new position "enormously significant" and said the centerpiece of Olbermann's new show would be his "signature and intelligent commentary."

(end snip)

I do like Current TV and have watched it off an on since it was started. I dare say KO will have more creative freedom. I doubt that Al will hand him talking points every day.

5. Current never lived up to its hype.. they have their work cut out for them
it sucks big-time. ICTV (what it replaced) was a real news venue..current? not even close, especially these days.

Keith, alone, cannot save it. I hope they spend a lot of time & money coming up with something great. I have my fingers crossed.

7. Current needs a lot more than Olbermann to become a viable, popular channel.
