FR heads exploding re: Quitter not hating GOProud enuff
Edited on Mon Feb-07-11 02:44 PM by K8-EEE
Killer awkward situation at failing Freeperville, where there is a new rule, anybody who is "for the homosexual agenda" in any way gets ZOTTED! WILL THEY HAVE TO ZOT QUEEN SARAH?

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2669812/posts#comment

"I realize it's Breitbart's title, but it is incorrect. Sarah Palin is referring to her participation only. She would participate on the panel even if GOProud is there. That's very different from saying that she 'throws support behind GOProud participation'." :eyes:

"Two things are apparent here. One, Brietbart is fully onboard with the homosexual movement. Second, while Palin didn’t directly support GOProud with her statement, she does indeed seem to be getting wobbly on social issues."

"I stated on another thread that I noticed that the new media director of Freedom Works is a member of the GOProud's facebook page. I have been sickened to see some people in some tea party groups jumping on board the gay fray. This is going to divide a beautiful conservative movement."
:nopity:

"If she would try stating things in a clear and uncluttered way, people would not have to decipher what she means.
There would be no confusion. Maybe she could have just said that her participation or non participation had nothing to do with GOP proud."

"If Palin goes there she loses my vote."

1. She is using the devil phrases "reaching out" and "healthy debate!"
"Palin is caving into political correctness. The words "reaching out" and "healthy debate" shows that. She knows if she acknowledges that homosexuality is an abomination and detestable, that will be her "political death certificate" when it comes to the Presidency.

Given the choice of 4-8 years in the Oval Office and eternity in Hell for mocking God's word, or speaking the truth, I'll always go with the truth. Hopefully Palin will also. "

3. Two words that should never be used together...
"beautiful" and "conservative". Unless there is a qualifier in between like: "beautifully (ineffective/failed) conservative movement".

13. I don't either and that could be a huge problem for her
b/c the people who buy her crap & make her rich certainly ARE homophobic and demand that quality in any candidate, this is a BAD PROBLEM for the GOP in general in the 21st century. Unless they can turn the clock back to the 50's (1850's!) I don't know how they will satisfy these extremists, whose votes they NEED.

So far she's been skating on vague talk (blah blah "family values" blah blah "Judeo Christian principles" but sooner or later she's going to have to come out against the "homosexual agenda" to make her nutty fans happy!

Light butter and salt, please!

18. I think the GOP are starting to see that maybe courting the gay vote isn't such a bad thing
The fact that they're "embracing" GOProud is telling. As younger people move into the party, I see the "gay" thing becoming less of an issue and if they really wanted to siphon votes from the Dems, they would start courting the gay vote honestly. Right now there are too many "old, white guys" running things but it won't be long before this "wedge" issue isn't anymore.

17. Palin has no convictions. Just what DOES she believe in anyway?
Real Americans, smaller government (smaller how, where), Ronald Reagan? She considered abortion, but didn't, proud of Bristol dancing with the hollywood liberals and wrapping her legs around her partner, sees no problem quitting in the middle of a service to people.

Do freepers know where she stands? They think they do, but Palin has never made clear what she stands for (besides money) just what she stands against.
