President Obama should make at least as strong a statement as the British PM

But, frankly, just saying 'strongly' that violence is unacceptable isn't going to help the anti-Mubarak protesters much.

Pres. Obama really needs to announce that as long as Mubarak lets his dogs provoke violence, then all U.S. aid and assistance is ended, military advisers and diplomats will be withdrawn.

But who thinks that is going to happen?

3. I agree that it needs to happen and now

If Obama doesn't try to help end this bloodshed in some way, and forcefully (and I don't mean by force), the Egyptian youths will remember being let down by America and that is what extremist Muslim groups count on. This is one of the reasons why people in the Middle East (and elsewhere) hate us.
