10. These are certainly not extravagant salaries. The cost of living

in California is horrible, and I find all of these salaries very reasonable; not at all like the Bell salaries, which were ridiculous.

12. Actually, these salaries are probably too high for government

management jobs. California is an expensive place to live. But it just isn't that difficult to direct the Cucamonga County Water District or the Santa Margarita Water District. Most of the people who pay those salaries are not earning enough money to pay their public servants that kind of money. Those are not the regular union jobs or regular union salaries.
